Ware delighted to announce that Mears Facilities Management (FM) has been listed as a finalist in three categories for the prestigious IWFM Impact Awards.

2020 has been an extraordinarily challenging year, both personally and professionally for everyone. The FM industry has faced a multitude of obstacles to overcome due to the pandemic, yet its role on the front line provides plenty to recognise and commend through the IWFM Impact Awards.

Mears FM has been recognised as finalists in the category of:

  • Account Manager of the Year - Michelle Stansfield
  • Team of the Year - Livingston
  • Newcomer of the Year - Alex Ballintine

All three finalists have shown how their passion and skills in FM have shone through and this has been recognised by the IWFM.

Kevin Woodcock Managing Director for Mears Facilities Management, said:

I am so proud of the whole FM team, and the fact that we have been recognised externally in three categories by the IWFM is something that Mears FM are very proud of. Michelle, Alex, and the Livingston team are shining examples of how strong our business is.They should feel immensely pleased with reaching the final of these prestigious awards.

The Workplace and Facilities Management awards are the industry's most prestigious event; it celebrates and showcases outstanding best practices and ingenuity from an influential profession that touches many areas of life, including some of the greatest challenges facing economies and communities across the globe.

Sustainability, social value, wellbeing, and productivity are just a few examples of workplace and facilities management's areas of influence, which underlines both its importance and its impacts on business, the economy, and society. Entries come from a cross-section of organisations - regardless of size, type, and sector - from across the world.

This means that being a finalist, or a winner, is a true achievement and testament to the great work carried out by the individual, team, project, collaboration, or organisation.

From everyone at Mears, we would like to congratulate Michelle, Alex and the Livingston Team on their shortlisting and wish them the very best of luck for the awards ceremony in October.
