MIAMI GARDENS, Fla., Aug. 15, 2022 - Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of a new Chipotle Mexican Grill in Miami Gardens, Florida. The 35,284-square-foot lot sold for $4,578,000 million.
Scott Sandelin of The Sandelin Group of Marcus & Millichap, along with Giovanni Gaviria, had the exclusive listing to market on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The buyer, based in Chicago, Illinois, was procured by Alejandro Gonzalez.
"The developer, MMG Equity Partners, procured one of the most visible and well-trafficked corner sites in Miami and then worked with Chipotle to craft a new location with a mobile order pickup lane known as a 'Chipotlane'," said Sandelin, senior vice president of investments. "This store will fill in a gap of coverage in northeast Miami and is sure to become one of their highest grossing stores."
The Chipotle is located at 18299 NW 27th Avenue and contains 2,448-square-feet of net leasable area. The purchase is an absolute triple-net lease, with a 15-year primary lease term. The brand-new double drive through restaurant opened in June of this year.
