Maritima de Inversiones SA (Marinsa) is a Chile-based company engaged, through its subsidiaries, in the maritime transport, freight and cargo and shipping services. It operates in three segments: Maritime freight transport, which is active in the transport of freight containers and on a minor scale, bulk transport and cars; Freight and vessel maritime services, is carried out through its 38.18% stake in Compania Sud Americana de Vapores SA, which is involved in port services of loading and unloading, terminal concessions, tug boat services, warehouse services and container dockyard, among others; Investments and others segment covers the income and expenses generated by the Company. As of December 31, 2011, Navarino SA was the Company’s majority shareholder with 50.1% of its interest.
