Mapfre Peru Vida Compania de Seguros y Reaseguros SA (Mapfre Peru Vida) is a Peru-based company primarily engaged in the insurance sector. The Company’s range of products includes the provision of a variety of direct life, health, vehicle and burial insurance and reinsurance policies, among others. Through its fully consolidated subsidiary Corporacion Funeraria SA, the Company also offers funerary services, as well as it is active in the development and management of mortuary facilities. As of December 31, 2011, Mapfre America SA was the Company’s majority shareholder with 67.27% of its interest.
