Kuwait Finance House (KFH) has become the first Kuwaiti bank to offer PACI-digital ID registration services in number of its branches and auto showrooms. The initiative is in line with the Bank`s digital transformation strategy, its leadership in e-banking services, as well as in preventive health measures that include carrying out physical distancing and avoiding crowds.

Executive Manager Personal Finance Products at KFH Adel Ahmed Al-Rashood said that the KFH's initiative of providing pavilions for 'Kuwait Mobile ID' application in branches came within the framework of the strategic partnership with P.A.C.I, with the aim of serving customers in facilitating digital ID registration without the need to attend.

Al-Rashood added in a press release, that the pavilions or the ATM machines provided by KFH are self-contained providing a complete solution for self-registration of the digital civil ID in Kuwait via smart mobile devices. He pointed out the possibility of registering in the digital signature service as well, which enables the customer to implement remote 'digital' signing of documents from any party that sends electronic documents.

Al-Rashoodaffirmed KFH's keenness to continue concluding strategic partnerships with various bodies with the aim of providing added value to KFH customers. He appreciated the role of P.A.C.I, which supports KFH's efforts in customer service.

It is noteworthy that KFH approved the digital civil ID through the 'Kuwait Mobile ID' application as official proof for customers,comes in compliance with the decision of the Cabinet of Kuwait regarding the approval of the digital civil ID to define the identity of people and complete transactions. It also comes within the Bank's distinguished efforts in digital transformation.

The 'Kuwait Mobile ID' application, which is available on the mobile, is one of the most important government applications that witnesses many users who want to obtain a digital Civil ID. KFH receives customers to complete their banking transactions through using their digital ID, to ensure the ease of procedures.
