Reinforcement leader Kordsa continues to support the students of the Yildiz Technical University once again, to encourage young people to technology, innovation, R&D and engineering. Kordsa sponsored once again Yildiz Technical University Wind Energy Club and their eco-friendly vehicle, Bulut 17. Kordsa's prepreg and composite fabrics used in the body, chassis, wings and diffuser sections of the car. The wind-powered vehicle will participate in Racing Aeolus, held in the Netherlands.

As a global reinforcement leader, Kordsa reinforces the students of The YTU Wind Energy Club with its 'reinforcing the future' mission. The YTU Wind Energy Club aims to create a social consciousness about wind energy both for the students of the Yildiz Technical University and the public while creating new projects by following current developments and technologies.

The YTU Wind Energy Club has completed the production of the vehicle that operates completely with wind energy. The speed is variable according to the wind and it can run at the speed of 40-50 kilometers when calculated over 80% efficiency. For startup, 'Bulut 17' draws its energy from the wind with the 2 m diameter diffuser and wings and transfers the energy generated by the wind to the wheels with a mechanical system. The YTU Wind Energy Club will participate in the Racing Aeolus races to highlight the importance of energy efficiency and renewable energy with 'Bulut 17'. Composite materials were preferred to lighten the vehicle and provide an advantage in the race. Kordsa once again sponsored YTU Wind Energy Club as a reflection of its mission to be pioneer of university and industry cooperation and prepregs and composite fabrics produced by Kordsa used in the body, chassis, wing and diffuser sections of the vehicle.
