Mr. Haethum Buttikhi - Chief Executive Officer at Jordan Kuwait Bank - expressed his pride to the great achievements of the Jordanian champions at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

An honoring ceremony - sponsored by the Bank - was held on Thursday 23, September 2021 at JKB's stage, with the presence of Mr. Nasser Majali - Secretary General to the Jordan Olypic Committee, Dr. Hussein Abu Alruz - President of the Paralympic Committee, and Ms. Maha Al Barghouthi - Secretary General to the Paralympic Committee. In addition to the presence of the honored champions, their families, interested and invited media personnel and the Bank's employees, to witness and honor the successes made at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Mr. Abedalwahab AlSamman - Corporate Communications Supervisor at JKB - addressed his speech to the Jordanian champions, for their unprecedented achievements. AlSamman also expressed pride towards the remarkable excellence and national achievements, as a cause of hope and confidence to spur further accomplishments under Jordan's name, in international sport forums.

Speeches were also presented by Mr. Nasser Majali and Dr. Hussein Abu Alruz; congratulating the champions for their accomplishments, and acknowledging the Bank's gesture to support and contribute to the development of these players, to advance and achieve their goals - both locally and internationally.

As for the commemorated champions by the Paralympic Committee are: Abdelkareem Khattab - weightlifting, has received the Golden medal in the 88KG category, Jamil Elshebli - weightlifting, received the Golden medal in the over-107KG category, Omar Qarada - a National weightlifter received the Golden medal in the 49KG category, Ahmad Hindi - a National goaltender received the Golden medal, and lastly, Khitam Abu Awad has received the Bronze medal for Individual Table Tennis.

Whereas, the Olympic Committee commemorated Saleh Elsharabaty for receiving the Silver medal in Taekwondo, and Abdelrahman Al-Masatfa for receiving the Bronze medal in Karate.
