JBS S.A. (BOVESPA:JBSS3) agreed to acquire an unknown majority stake in Biotech Foods SL for €36 million on November 18, 2021. JBS is also announcing the setting up of Brazil's first cultivated protein research & development (R&D) center. The deal is subject to the approval of foreign investment authority of Spain. Pablo Paisán of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, S.L.P. acted as legal advisor to JBS S.A. (BOVESPA:JBSS3). JBS S.A. (BOVESPA:JBSS3) completed the acquisition of unknown majority stake in Biotech Foods SL on May 5, 2022.
