For the first quarter, the company reported sales was BRL 90,866.57 million compared to BRL 75,251.22 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 5,142.27 million compared to BRL 2,045.52 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 2.29 compared to BRL 0.81 a year ago.
