FORTEC Elektronik AG with dynamic business development in the first quarter 2022/2023

  • Group turnover of EUR 25.0 million around 18 % above the previous year’s level (PY: EUR 21.2 million)
  • Group operating EBIT of EUR 2.7 million (PY: EUR 2.2 million) rose again
  • Order book as at 30 September 2022 increased significantly to EUR 99.0 million (PY: EUR 68.6 million)

 

FORTEC Elektronik AG is publishing an announcement regarding the first quarter of the 2022/2023 financial year today. This can be viewed by visiting the company’s website (https://www.fortecag.de/en/investor-relations/reports/).

 

In the first quarter of the current financial year, sales revenues increased by around 18 % from EUR 21.2 million in the previous year to EUR 25.0 million. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) also rose significantly by around 23 % to EUR 2.7 million (PY: 2.2 million); whereby the EBIT margin based on the turnover achieved was able to be increased slightly from 10.6 % in the previous year to 10.9 %.

 

In the first three months, the net profit for the period increased by EUR 230,000 to around EUR 1.9 million compared to the previous year. Earnings per share rose from EUR 0.53 to EUR 0.60.

“We are recording a pleasing business development in both segments. Sales in the data visualisation segment with high-margin industrial monitors developed particularly dynamically in the first quarter,” comments Sandra Maile, CEO of FORTEC Elektronik AG.
