EROAD CTO Jarred Clayton has advised he has been approached by marine technology company Navico to join as its global CTO and will be moving on from EROAD after nearly 12 years.

Jarred has been instrumental in many product and technology achievements during the last 12 years with a relentless focus on innovation and execution. Jarred has built an excellent R&D leadership team and is leaving EROAD well placed with a strong future focused product and technology strategy. Jarred will leave EROAD on 11 September 2020.

EROAD CEO Steven Newman said: 'Jarred has been a core member of EROAD's leadership team and a significant contributor to our success over the last 12 years. He however leaves a strong legacy and R&D team which will continue to launch innovative and exciting products, including a new camera product towards the end of this year'.

Jarred said: 'I have greatly enjoyed the last 12 years working with a fantastic team to help take EROAD from start-up to the company it is today. The people at EROAD are incredibly talented and I'm confident the company will continue to do great things in the future.'

'The Navico role presents for me the dream role of combining my passion for boating with technology. It is with a heavy heart I leave EROAD but it is in excellent hands given Steven's and the engineering team's technical expertise and vision and a highly capable leadership team.' Jarred said.

EROAD is commencing a search for a new CTO.
