Croatian telecommunications equipment producer Ericsson Nikola Tesla (ENT) said on April 8 it has signed a deal worth HRK7.5mn (€990,000) with Bosnian telecoms operator HT Mostar on the delivery of new equipment.

“The implementation of this contract will enable HT Mostar simpler and more flexible management and maintenance of contracted solutions, as well as the creation of new advanced services that would satisfy end users,” ENT said in a press release filed on the website of Zagreb Stock Exchange.

ENT will implement in HT Mostar the latest version of the multimedia subsystem based on the Internet protocol (IP Multimedia Subsystem - IMS), which enables the virtualisation of network functions. As part of the contract, ENT will upgrade the system for measuring network performance.

The company will also implement a new Ericsson diameter signalling controller solution. It will also install its steering of roaming solution, which would ease the management of work with users in roaming partner networks.
