Empresas Hites SA is a Chile-based real estate company, which is engaged in the retail sector. The Company owns and manages a network of stores and department stores located in Santiago, as well as in other cities, including Maipu, Rancagua, Copiapo, La Serena, Osorno, Puente Alto and Temuco, among others. The products offered at the Company’s stores include women, men and children apparel; toys; computers and electronics; furniture and home furnishings; household appliances, and accessories, among others. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries, as Comercializadora SA, Inversiones y Tarjetas SA, Administradora Plaza SA, Comisiones y Cobranzas SA and Gestion de Creditos Puente SA.
