The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly and lastingly disrupted ongoing projects. Such a global scale event has an impact for all trades on the conditions in which they carry out their works. In the years to come, companies and clients wishing to enter into new contracts, within the framework of new projects, will have to take these disturbances into account. Their project execution plan will require amendments, reconsidering their risk allocation and anticipating these events from both an operational and a contractual point of view. Notwithstanding the fact that each contract has its own specificities, it nevertheless seems possible, to propose various approaches on some operational aspects that should be monitored through the contract: engineering, purchasing, logistics and transport, manufacturing, construction and reception.

Within the frame of this webinar, Driver Trett will first share various returns on experience on the operational and contractual management of the COVID-19 crisis from both clients' and contractors' perspective. Our speakers will share their insights and propose some leads regarding management of future Bids/tenders to protect oneself in case of a new crisis.
