Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka PLC reported unaudited earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 30, 2018. For quarter, the company reported net revenue was LKR 7,047,688,000 against LKR 7,319,128,000 a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 2,185,515,000 against LKR 1,963,740,000 a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 1,286,735,000 against LKR 1,079,659,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share were LKR 0.28 against LKR 3.60 a year ago.
For nine months, the company reported net revenue was LKR 20,151,743,000 against LKR 21,019,556,000 a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 6,146,511,000 against LKR 4,727,531,000 a year ago. Profit for the period was LKR 3,553,243,000 against LKR 2,582,340,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share were LKR 0.77 against LKR 8.61a year ago.
