Constructora Conconcreto reported consolidated and company earnings results for the third quarter ended September 2017. On consolidated basis, income from ordinary activities of COP 1,091,054 million against COP 1,101,264 million a year ago. Operating profit was COP 84,255 million against COP 90,270 million a year ago, Before - tax profit was COP 49,161 million against COP 92,560 million a year ago. Net profit was COP 34,345 million against COP 63,808 million a year ago. EBITDA was COP 137,640 million against COP 173,687 million a year ago.
On company basis, income from ordinary activities of COP 790,866 million against COP 832,433 million a year ago. Operating profit was COP 77,399 million against COP 92,248 million a year ago. Before - tax profit was COP 47,647 million against COP 83,184 million a year ago. Net profit was COP 33,092 million against COP 61,965 million a year ago. EBITDA was COP 126,844 million against COP 156,415 million a year ago.
Constructora Conconcreto SA is a Colombia-based company primarily engaged in the engineering and construction sector. The Companyâs activities include the design, maintenance and development of nonresidential properties, which are structured in four divisions: Commerce and Institutional, which comprises hypermarkets and supermarkets, hospitals, hotels, institutional buildings, sporting and cultural centers and shopping centers; Industry, which includes production plants, docks, pipelines, warehouses and distribution centers; Infrastructure, which specializes in the construction and maintenance of bridges, roads, tunnels, power stations and massive transport systems, and Housing, active in the development of single and multifamily residential properties. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Consorcio Mercantil Colombiano SA, Inmobiliaria Conconcreto SAS and Inverdi SAS. On October 11, 2012, the Company acquired a 100% stake in Inversiones Worldwide Storage SA.
