CNH Industrial N.V. on Wednesday said it will be temporarily shut some of its European factories due to "ongoing disruptions to the procurement environment and shortages of core components, especially semiconductors."
The company said it will be temporarily closing several agricultural, commercial vehicle and powertrain manufacturing facilities.
CNH said it expects the closures will be for no longer than eight working days in October.
The company's brands include Case IH, Steyer, New Holland and IVECO.
