CLS Holdings plc ("CLS" or the "Group")

simplifies organisational structure and announces promotions

CLS today announces that it has undertaken a reorganisation of the Group's structure to simplify reporting lines and align better with the geographical spread of the business.

The repositioning of CLS portfolio and assets in recent years has resulted in a business that is more focused and evenly spread across its key geographical markets. Effective 1 June, the following changes were implemented:

  • All country leaders will report directly to the CEO. The country leaders are Dan Howson, UK, Rolf Mensing, Germany and Philippe Alexis, France - all of whom will continue to be a part of the senior leadership team ("SLT")
  • David Fuller has been appointed to the new role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Company Secretary, reporting to the CEO. His responsibilities will include sustainability, legal, media and communications and human resources, in addition to his duties as Company Secretary. He will continue to be part of the SLT.
  • Rachel Broughton, Head of Development, will report directly to the CEO and will join the SLT and
  • Francesca Fear, Group Financial Controller, will also join the SLT

Simon Wigzell, Head of Group Property, has decided to leave CLS to pursue new challenges in his career. As a member of the SLT, Simon has been instrumental in delivering several of CLS's most notable recent successful schemes, including Vauxhall Square and Spring Mews.

These changes strengthen the CLS leadership team and enable the business to be more efficient and agile. It will also allow country heads to be more involved in the Group's engagement with investors and other stakeholders. These changes and promotions have allowed CLS to draw upon its depth of talent from within the organisation, ensuring it continues to have a wide cross section of skills and experience to deliver its strategy.

Fredrik Widlund, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"Over the past two years, CLS has undergone a significant transformation. We have sold non-core assets including our regional UK office portfolio and our stake in Catena AB while significantly expanded our presence in Germany. These changes required us to take a look at the appropriateness of the structure we had in place. The changes announced today will simplify our structure to ensure we are as agile as possible. I would like to congratulate David, Rachel and Francesca on their well-earned promotions."

"I am sad to see Simon leave and have worked closely with him for a number of years, and he has played a critical role in helping CLS become the business that it is today. We are grateful for his contribution to the company and wish him every success in his future endeavours."
