Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A ('Company' or 'Eletrobras') (B3: ELET3, ELET5 & ELET6; NYSE: EBR & EBR.B; LATIBEX: XELT.O & XELT.B) hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, on this date, Decree 10,791/2021, of September 10, 2021, was published in the Official Gazette of the Union, creating the Empresa Brasileira de Participações em Energia Nuclear e Binacional S.A. - ENBpar. The new state-owned company, created as a result of Eletrobras' capitalization process, as provided for in Law No. 14.182/2021, was designed as a holding model and will have as its objective to hold the share capital and commercialization of the Itaipu hydroelectric plant, to be the partner majority in Eletronuclear, manage the contracts of the Global Reversion Reserve - RGR signed until 2016 and the following government programs: National Program for the Conservation of Electric Energy - Procel, Incentive Program for Alternative Sources of Electric Energy - PROINFA, Mais Luz para Amazônia and Mais Luz para Todos.

The form of segregation of assets is still under evaluation by BNDES and must be approved at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Eletrobras, pursuant to article 3 of Law 14182/2021.
