Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A ("Company" or "Eletrobras") (B3: ELET3, ELET5 & ELET6; NYSE: EBR & EBR.B; LATIBEX: XELT.O & XELT.B) hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, on this date, Ordinance No. 556/GM/MME, of October 6, 2021, was published in the Official Gazette of the Federal Government, which designates the Empresa Brasileira de Participações em Energia Nuclear e Binacional SA - ENBpar as the operational body of the National Program for Universal Access and Use of Electric Energy - "Luz para Todos" and the National Program for Universal Access and Use of Electric Energy in the Legal Amazon - Mais Luz Para a Amazônia, collectively called "Programs".

Empresa Brasileira de Participações em Energia Nuclear and Binacional S.A. - ENBpar is a state-owned company created within the scope of the privatization process of Eletrobras, to receive the assets, programs and contracts that cannot be maintained in Eletrobras after privatization.

The transfer of the aforementioned Programs will take place within 12 months, after the meeting for ratification of the capital increase that may take place pursuant to Law 14,182.
