Carlsberg A/S said it expects organic operating profit for the year to fall by less than previously forecast.

The company on Thursday said it expects organic operating profit to decline by a high single-digit percentage. It had been expecting it to fall between 10% and 15%.

The company said it was changing it guidance because the outlook for western China is better after Covid-19 restrictions have been relaxed, solid volume development has continued in eastern Europe and because August results were better than anticipated.
