Three months after installing the hoarding in centre court, the new family zone was unveiled to our customers and guests. The response has been phenomenal, and the team couldn't be prouder of the new stay and play and guest services desk. Stay and play opened at 8:00am on Saturday 25th and the first guest to visit was Luisa, who was celebrating her third birthday on the day. 14 trips down the slide before she could be persuaded to put her shoes back on, was the first indicator of Hemel's success!

From then, the slide, soft play and digital elements have been in use constantly, and feedback from parents and children alike have been amazing to hear. 'Wonderful', 'such great quality equipment', 'just right for the little kids as well as the bigger ones', 'can't believe it's free', 'just what the centre needed' are some of the comments that have been received by enthused guests.

The stay and play launch is just part of the project works coming to an end with the low ceilings having been replaced in Centre Court, South Court already now in progress, new atria wall, entrance baffles and illuminated logo. Other improvements also include new planters and benches throughout, selfie zone unit hoardings and yet more new seating in centre court.
