The Tunisian Confederation of Citizen Enterprises (CONECT) and Attijari Bank have started the executive phase of the project "Dar Al Macharii" (House of projects) which will provide project holders with financing and support mechanisms, CONECT President Tarek Cherif, told TAP on Saturday.

CONECT and Attijari signed Friday, in Tunis, a partnership agreement as part of their common strategy to support private initiative and the creation of projects.

In a statement to TAP, Cherif underlined that the new agreement will help mobilise financing for new investors and provide technical support to project holders.

He said that this agreement comes a month and a half after the signing of the framework agreement of "Dar Al Macharii" and will promote a better regional scope of this project.

He also indicated that the confederation is working to strengthen its network of external relations, recalling the meeting he had Friday with US ambassador at Tunis, Donald Bloom.

Cherif considered that CONECT will rely on the development of its external relations to take advantage of export, cooperation and partnership opportunities, including those offered by the US market, which, according to him, is full of opportunities that Tunisian investors and businessmen must seize.
