Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-May 2021 17/06/2021 - Press Releases

In January-May 2021, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €11,578 million, compared to a deficit of €8,872 million in the same period of 2020. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €16,514 million, compared to €15,334 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €26,764 million, from €22,132 million in January-May 2020.
