Balfour Beatty PLC said Friday that its joint venture Gammon Construction Ltd. has been awarded three significant commercial and development contracts in Hong Kong for undisclosed amounts.

The FTSE 250 infrastructure group said Gammon will develop a Grade-A office tower and associated infrastructure on Hong Kong Island for Swire Properties, scheduled for completion in 2023.

The second contract will see it develop four new residential towers in Kowloon for The Wharf (Holdings) Ltd. and Wheelock Properties (Hong Kong) Ltd, set to complete in 2023.

It will also develop three further residential towers in Tseung Kwan O New Town for a consortium of Sino Land Company Ltd., K. Wah International Holdings Ltd. and China Merchants Land Ltd., with completion set for 2024.

"We are delighted to bring our expertise to these projects, constructing them safely, efficiently and sustainably with minimal waste," Gammon Construction Chief Executive Thomas Ho said.

Gammon Construction is jointly owned by Balfour Beatty and Jardine Matheson Holdings Ltd.
