VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ B2Gold Corp. (BTG) on Tuesday reported third-quarter profit of $262.9 million.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had profit of 25 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 15 cents per share.

The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 15 cents per share.

The gold, silver and copper miner posted revenue of $487.2 million in the period.

B2Gold shares have increased 69% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $6.77, an increase of 96% in the last 12 months.
