Azelis : inaugurates first Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare laboratory for the Asia Pacific region in India

Azelis, a leading innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, is pleased to announce the opening of its first Asia Pacific Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare ("Pharma") dedicated application laboratory in India. This latest investment in the group's innovation capabilities is aligned with its strategic vision to bring its formulation expertise and innovative solutions to a wider audience, benefiting customers and principals in the Pharma and Nutraceutical industry while also supporting regional and local business growth.

The opening of this state-of-the-art facility is a recognition of Azelis India's excellent business performance, its key wins with strategic principals and market demand for further pharma solutions. Leveraging its extensive lateral value chain along with the laboratory's resources enables the India Pharma team to cover new applications and better support customers with ground-breaking formulations and solutions.

The Pharma laboratory is fully equipped with all the machinery needed to support formulation development, resolve technical challenges, and provide customer demonstrations. The laboratory will serve a range of applications from dosage forms, taste- and odor-masking, solubility enhancement to stability enhancement, along with sustainable solutions such as production process improvement by way of shifting from a solvent base to an aqueous base. Combined with the team's technical expertise, the laboratory enables the scaling up of Azelis' solutions to meet customers' production needs with actual manufacturable products.
