APOLLO FOOD HOLDINGS BERHAD informed that the company had taken stringent precautionary measures for Covid-19 including temporary stoppage of operations of the Group commencing from 9 December 2020 so as to enable the employees at the premises to undertake Covid-19 testing and disinfection of premises. Furthermore, the premises of Apollo Food Industries (M) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, which are located at 3, Jalan Kilang, Kawasan Perindustrian Larkin, 80350 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia and 70, Jalan Langkasuka, Kawasan Perindustrian Larkin, 80350 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia had on 11 December 2020 received notices from Ministry of Health (“MOH”) to temporarily stop their operations commencing 6.00 p.m. on even day until 17 December 2020 for the disinfection of premises or to help curbing the spread of Covid-19. The Group is expecting to resume its operations on 18 December 2020 or earlier, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities. Apollo informed that given the evolving circumstances, the Group is unable to quantify or determine the impact of Covid-19 on the financial and operational results of the Group arising from the temporary stoppage of operations of the Group due to Covid-19 testing for employees and disinfection of premises. Notwithstanding the above, Apollo’s operations have strictly adhered to the preventive measures of Covid-19 issued by MOH as part of the business continuity management and Apollo will continue to work closely with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all the employees during this Covid-19 situation.
