ANAM Electronic (Vietnam) Co., Ltd announced that it will receive KRW 5,434,000,000 in an equity round of funding on December 20, 2017. The transaction will involve participation from existing investor Anam Electronics Co.,Ltd. (KOSE:A008700). Post the closing of the transaction, the investor will continue to retain its 100% stake in the company. The transaction is expected to close on January 31, 2018. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the investor. The company reported total assets of KRW 72,794,720,428, total liabilities of KRW 72,786,089,915, total capital of KRW 8,630,513, capital of KRW 8,474,678,100, revenue of KRW 54,952,302,498, and net income of KRW -6,849,794,260 for the year ended December 31, 2016.
ANAM ELECTRONICS CO,.LTD. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of home audio products. The Company's product portfolio consists of home audio products, including audio visual (AV) surround receivers, stereo receivers, digital video disc (DVD) players and others, as well as related components. It also provides power supplies for medical devices, household appliances and industrial equipment. In addition, it engages in the real estate leasing business. The Company mainly supplies audio products to HARNAM KARDON, MARANTZ, DENON, YAMAHA, TEAC, NAD and others, and supplies medical equipment to HOSPIRA, Benchmark and others. On August 20, 2013, it established a new wholly owned subsidiary in Vietnam, which is engaged in the production of audio and other electrical machines.
