Alpha Bank applies for the Hercules Asset Protection Scheme regarding the Galaxy IV Securitization [22.10.2020]

Alpha Bank remains fully committed to the implementation of the NPL Securitization Transaction Galaxy (the "Galaxy Transaction"), which is a key pillar of its Strategic Plan, as announced in November 2019. The Galaxy Transaction consists of three (3) NPL securitizations, code-named Orion, Galaxy II and Galaxy IV, with a total gross book value of Euro 10.8 billion.

With its announcement issued on 6.8.2020, Alpha Bank informed investors that it has submitted an application for the Hercules Asset Protection Scheme, in accordance with Law 4649/2019, regarding the Orion and Galaxy II securitizations, which have a gross book value of Euro 1.9 billion and Euro 5.7 billion respectively.

Following its announcement of 6.8.2020, the Bank submitted today an application for the Hercules Asset Protection Scheme regarding the third securitization, Galaxy IV, with a gross book value of Euro 3.2 billion. The application concerns the provision of a guarantee by the Greek State for the senior notes of the Galaxy IV securitization with a total value of up to Euro 650 million.
