Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) today announced leadership appointments to its Financial Lines business in the company's Regional Unit London (RUL) & Nordics team, headed by Stefania Davi-Greer and covering the UK, Ireland, Nordic countries and the Middle East.

Financial Lines

which includes Director's and Officers, Professional indemnity and Cyber, remains a key strategic area for AGCS - Allianz's entity for large-scale corporate and specialty risks - and these appointments demonstrate the company's continued commitment to providing solutions for its customers in this important area of risk.

Hannah Tindal is appointed Head of Directors and Officers (D&O). In this role she will be responsible for leading AGCS' regional D&O team which comprises five people and will oversee strategic development, execution and financial performance. She will report to Stefania Davi-Greer and will assume her role in the second quarter of 2021 following her relocation from the US. Hannah brings her extensive experience and robust technical skills acquired through 20 years of underwriting and management roles with large corporate insurers in North America to her new role.

Additionally, Martin Stewart is promoted to D&O Underwriting Manager. In this new role, he will be responsible for driving the portfolio strategy for D&O in these unique market conditions. His appointment is effective immediately and he will continue to be based in London. He will report to Hannah Tindal when she assumes her new role. Martin is another member of the team who is well known to customers and brokers across the industry with over 15 years in Financial Lines roles at different carriers, both in Glasgow and London, and previously chairperson of the IUA D&O Underwriting Group.

James McGuire is appointed Head of Financial Institutions (FI). He will have responsibility for the regional FI team and for defining and executing the strategic direction of FI as the company seeks to profitably grow this book. James' appointment is effective immediately. He will also report to Stefania Davi-Greer and be based in London. Currently UK FI Underwriting Manager, James brings over 20 years' of experience and expertise to the role and will be well known to many in the market.

In the Cyber team, Michela Moro is appointed Cyber Underwriting Manager, where she will have responsibility for driving strong account retention and business growth opportunities in the regional Cyber market. She will continue to be based in London, and will report to Rehan Hussain, Head of Cyber, RUL & Nordics. This is effective immediately. Michela joined AGCS last spring as Senior Cyber Underwriter, bringing over 10 years of experience from previous roles held in Finance, Strategy, Financial Lines and Cyber across different European countries and the London market.
