The International Summer School 'Supramolecular chemistry in Medicine and in Technology: Advances and Challenges' will be held from August 30 to September 3, 2018, in Albena resort (near Varna, Bulgaria).

It is mainly, but not only, directed to students and young researchers and aims to show them the opportunities, which supramolecular chemistry gives. Special emphasis will be given to the methods for investigation of supramolecular structures and design of supramolecular systems with directed properties for medicinal and high tech applications.

This School is a part of the Institutional Partnership SupraMedChem@Balkans.Net between University of Fribourg (Switzerland), Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and University of Kragujevac (Serbia), funded by Swiss National Science Foundation in the frame of SCOPES 2013-2016 Program.

In addition to the lectures given by leading scientists, The Summer School includes a poster session, where the young researchers and students can present their scientific results.
