OSLO, NORWAY & FORT WORTH, TX - (October 11, 2021) - Airthings, creators of the
best-selling indoor air quality and radon monitors for homeowners, businesses
and professionals, announced today the expanded product assortment and increased
store count at The Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer.
Just in time for October National Fire & Safety Month and November Lung Cancer
Awareness Month, more consumers across the US are now able to purchase
Airthings' air quality products and radon monitoring devices at their local Home
Depot store.

Airthings' expanded retail presence comes as a result of a growing partnership
with The Home Depot as more consumers are becoming aware of the importance of
monitoring the air quality in their homes. The expansion plan will happen in two
ways: in 2020 the home improvement retailer launched an exclusive Digital Radon
Detector in 550 Home Depot stores located in states where radon concentrations
are ranked the highest by the EPA. Now, the product will be available in more
than 1,000 Home Depot locations across the US, as well as on homedepot.com. This
expanded availability makes continuous short and long-term radon monitoring even
more accessible for those living in high-risk areas, helping people everywhere
achieve peace-of-mind about radon, the second-leading cause of lung cancer.
According to the EPA, in comparison to other household risks, radon is
responsible for six times more deaths, per year, than house fires and carbon
monoxide poisoning combined.

Secondly, The Home Depot will officially launch Airthings Wave Mini in
approximately 1,300 stores, making it the first-ever air quality monitor
permanently stocked by the retailer. Airthings' Wave Mini, a first-of-a-kind
smart air quality monitor with mold risk indication, provides users with
insights into common indoor air pollutants in the home such as mold and airborne
chemicals (VOCs), as well as temperature and humidity, so they can make small
changes to optimize their air quality for a healthier, happier home. As the
first air quality monitor sold in its
stores, Wave Mini's presence at The Home Depot underscores the increasing
consumer demand for effective, attainable air quality monitoring solutions in
the home.

"With October being National Fire & Safety Month and November being Lung Cancer
Awareness Month, there's more reason than ever for people to take action on
their indoor air quality - especially as colder weather approaches, often
leading to people closing up their homes and reducing ventilation, which
contributes to increased radon levels," said Oyvind Birkenes, Airthings CEO.
"We're thrilled that The Home Depot shares our mission to help people take
control of their air quality and empower the world to breathe better. By
strengthening Airthings' presence in their stores, we're making indoor air
quality monitoring a reality for everyone."

The Airthings Wave Mini and Airthings Digital Radon Detector expansion plan will
begin rolling out in stores in October. Customers can also shop Airthings'
complete line of air quality monitoring and radon detection products online at
homedepot.com.
