Aft Pharmaceuticals : Posts Decline in Profit, Rise in Revenue for Six Months Ended September; Shares Down 5%

(MT Newswires) -- Aft Pharmaceuticals (ASX:AFP, NZE:AFT) on Thursday reported attributable profit after tax of NZ$1.2 million ($820,000) for the six months ended Sept. 30, or NZ$0.01 per share, compared with NZ$9.9 million, or NZ$0.10 per share, a year earlier.
Revenue for the half-year rose year over year to NZ$48.8 million from NZ$46.9 million.
For fiscal 2021, the company expects operating profit to range from NZ$14 million to NZ$18 million, a 23% to 58% growth over FY20. The company said it will review its dividend policy in FY22 when debt returns to a satisfactory level.
Shares of the company were down nearly 5% in recent trading.
