MATERIAL FACT
AES Brasil Energia S.A. ("AES Brasil" or "Company") (B3: AESB3), in compliance with the terms of article 157, paragraph 4 of Law 6,404, and Instruction no. 358 as of January 3rd, 2002, and other applicable dispositions, informs to the shareholders and to the market that:
Following its strategy of growth and diversification of its portfolio through the development of projects from sources complementary to hydro and with long-term contracts, the Company announced on August 04, 2021 an Investment Agreement with BRF S.A ("BRF") for the constitution of a joint venture with shared control for the purpose of wind power generation and power purchase and sale agreement ("PPA"). The Company estimates that the construction will begin in 2021and that the CAPEX spent will be R$ 5.2 million/MW installed.
Thus, AES Brasil has updated its projections regarding the preview of investments for the period between 2021 to
2025. For this period, the Company plans on investing a total of approximately R$ 3.5 billion, as detailed below:

Considers installed capacity of 46 MW, 165 MW, 160 MW and 11 MW from the PPAs signed in 2021. In addition, it also considers the shared structure of the park, amounting R$ 150.8 million
