Technology provider Access Hospitality, part of The Access Group, has announced a kiosk solutions partnership with QikServe, a digital self-service platform for hospitality, according to a press release.

The partnership, which integrates the Access EPoS system with QikServe's kiosk solution, is designed to help operators transform the customer experience, streamline operations and reduce pressure on staff. The self-service kiosk experience from QikServe typically delivers a 20% increase in average transaction value, according to the press release.

The two businesses already have a network of hospitality customers. QikServe works with brands including Merlin Entertainments and Shake Shack, while Access Hospitality provides EPoS solutions for operators such as Young's Pub Company, Itsu, Hubbox and Gail's Bakery.

"In 2017, Access entered the U.K. hospitality market to give operators a fresh and innovative all-in-one software solution focused on increasing their sales, controlling their costs and giving valuable business insights," Henry Seddon, managing director of Access Hospitality, said in the press release. "This exciting partnership with QikServe further adds to the solutions available through our Access Workspace platform giving operators a flexible, EPoS integrated kiosk solution that enables them to run their business their way."

In a recent survey conducted by Access Hospitality, hospitality operators rated improving guest experience as their second highest priority (58%), with a quarter of respondents saying that they intended to introduce faster food ordering technology in 2020 to retain their customer base and build customer loyalty.
