A'Saffa Foods SAOG reported audited consolidated and parent company earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2017. For the year, on consolidated basis, the company reported, revenue of OMR 32,228,000, net profit before tax of OMR 5,164,000, net profit after tax of OMR 4,327,000, compared to revenue of OMR 30,670,000, net profit before tax of OMR 5,229,000, net profit after tax of OMR 4,575,000, for the same period a year ago.
For the year, on parent company basis, the company reported, revenue of OMR 31,944,000, net profit before tax of OMR 4,461,000, net profit after tax of OMR 3,742,000, compared to revenue of OMR 30,557,000, net profit before tax of OMR 5,070,000, net profit after tax of OMR 4,454,000, for the same period a year ago.
ASaffa Foods SAOG is an Oman-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and distribution of poultry meat. AâSaffa produces frozen and freshly/chilled poultry products, which include birds, breasts, wings, drumsticks, gizzards, and liver , among others. The Company's products include AâSaffa Frozen chicken, AâSaffa fresh chicken, AâSaffa delicacies, zingle range, Khayarat delicacies, Khayarat Fruit and fruit pulp, Khayarat frozen vegetables, Taybat delicacies, Taybat fresh chicken, Taybat frozen chicken. The Company also offers a range of frozen vegetables, frozen fruits, frozen fruit pulps and frozen processed sea food. The Companyâs subsidiaries include AâSaffa Food Processing LLC, which is engaged in manufacturing and distribution of meat, vegetables and fruit products, AâSaffa Logistics LLC, which is engaged in storage and providing logistical support services. The Company exports to United Ara Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Yemen.
