The U.K. energy regulator said Friday that it has launched five consultations on proposals to ensure the cap on prices paid by consumers reflects the costs, risks and uncertainties facing energy suppliers, including changing maximum charges.

The Office of Gas and Electricity Markets has invited stakeholder views by Dec. 17.

Ofgem intends to publish all decisions except one by the beginning of February, with the final one related to coronavirus costs to published by August.
