Ingeteam doubles the biomass power serviced with the award of the largest contract in its history

• Ingeteam has strengthened its market position with a new contract with the Greenalia company, adding 50 MW to the biomass power already serviced.

• With this new contract, Ingeteam is responsible for the provision of O&M services to a total of 102 MW in biomass

• Thanks to this agreement, Ingeteam will be recruiting 40 new employees for the plant of Curtis, Teixeiro, La Coruña (Spain)

Ingeteam has started 2022 by positioning itself as a leader in the renewable energy plant O&M market with the award of a new contract. This refers to the agreement reached with Greenalia, a new customer for this Basque company, for the maintenance of the Curtis plant located in the Galician region of Teixeiro in A Coruña. This new contract will double the biomass power serviced by Ingeteam to reach a total of 102 MW.

This is a long-term contract with an all-inclusive scope with regard to operation and maintenance services for the Biomass Power Generation and Processing Plant, strengthening the work of Ingeteam in the provision of these services and extending its range of services offered to customers as an independent multi-service provider of operation and maintenance services to renewable energy generation plants.

Furthermore, this agreement involves the creation of new jobs, with the recruitment by Ingeteam of 40 new employees to provide the O&M service at this plant in Galicia.

In this way, Ingeteam has started the year by adding 50 MW to the power serviced in its portfolio, thereby strengthening its position as a partner in the sector in order to be part of this and other future projects with new customers.
