Communications services companies ticked down as investors pared back bets on a return to normal media consumption habits due to a vaccine.

Shares of Netflix rose Friday, in a sign that investors expect restrictions to continue for some time; while shares of Walt Disney fell, giving back some of the gains associated with bets earlier this week that a vaccine would soon lead to theme-park reopenings.

Cinema chain Regal Entertainment Group owner Cineworld Group is in talks with investors for financial lifelines after months of empty theaters in the U.S. and U.K. during the coronavirus pandemic.
