CHRYSAOR NORGE AWARDED LICENSES

IN NORWEGIAN APA 2020 LICENSING ROUND

On 19 January 2021 the Norwegian APA 2020 Offshore Licensing Round (Awards in Predefined Areas) was announced. Chrysaor Norge was awarded a total of six licences with a variety of work programmes. Located in the Norwegian North Sea, three of the licences are operated by Chrysaor Norge (PL 1114; PL 1093; PL 1087) with the remaining three licences operated by Lundin (PL 1092; PL 1089) and Neptune (PL 1113).

The six licences cover 18 blocks with Chrysaor Norge holding an average working interest in the blocks of 45%. Prior to these awards the Company held working interests in 11 licences over 18 blocks in Norway with an average working interest of 42%.

Our focus in 2021 remains, subject to the necessary approvals, on safely drilling the first of our operated Norwegian wells on PL 973, with wells at the Jerv and Ilder prospects potentially spudding in the first half of the year."
