International stocks trading in New York closed mixed on Monday.

The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts ticked down 0.6% to 141.96. The European index slipped 1% to 132.37. The Asian index was flat at 172.95. The Latin American index was flat at 192.38, while the emerging-markets index moved up 0.2% to 294.30.

Amarin Corp. was among those whose ADRs traded actively.

The Dublin biopharmaceutical company rose 1.2% after it said new supported and/or funded research on the effects of its fish-oil-derived drug Vazkepa in specific patient subgroups from cardiovascular outcomes trials have been accepted for presentation at the European Society of Cardiology Congress.

Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca PLC rose 0.3% after it said that its Enhertu drug significantly delayed metastatic breast cancer progression in a Phase 3 trial, reinforcing the results of a prior trial.
