International stocks trading in New York were mixed Tuesday.

BP PLC was among the companies with ADRs that traded actively.

The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts fell 0.2% to 164.31. The European index decreased 0.6% to 135.29, the Asian index improved 0.1% to 241.62, the Latin American index rose 0.7% to 189.01 and the emerging markets index increased 0.7% to 418.62.

ADRs of BP rose 3.5% to $25.10. The company said it expects that in the first quarter, it reached its net debt target of $35 billion. The company also guided for its 2021 disposal proceeds to be at the higher end of its outlook of between $4 billion and $6 billion.
