Finland sold 3 billion euros ($3.32 billion) via the launch of a new April 2036-dated benchmark bond through a syndicate of banks on Tuesday, said one of the lead manager banks.

The spread on the coupon was set 11 basis points below mid-swaps, said one of the lead managers. Final books were in excess of EUR21 billion.

The joint book runner banks of the transaction were BofA Securities, Citi, Danske Bank, JPMorgan and Nordea.
