Southwest Securities International Securities Ltd is an investment holding company principally engaged in the proprietary trading business. The Company operates through five segments. The Proprietary Trading segment is engaged in the proprietary trading in securities, futures, options and fund investments. The Brokerage and Margin Financing segment is engaged in the provision of brokerage services in securities, futures, options and insurance products as well as provision of margin financing services. The Corporate Finance segment is engaged in the provision of underwriting, placing, consultancy and financial advisory services. The Asset Management segment is engaged in the provision of asset management services. The Other Operations segment represents the operating segment which does not meet the quantitative threshold for determining reportable segment that have been aggregated in arriving at the reporting segment.
