Rogers Communications : Interview with 2018 Ted Rogers Scholarship Recipient Laura Levesque

1. Where do you volunteer - what's your favourite thing about what you do?

YMCA Youth Zone. My favorite thing about what I do is the Girls Group I run because I get to watch the girls grow. And see them becoming more and more confident and taking pride in what they do.

2. Why was receiving a Ted Rogers Scholarship special?

Because I love learning and I wish to go as far as possible in my studies. The Ted Rogers Scholarship gave me the opportunity to keep learning, to reach my goals and to reach my full potential.

3. Where do you plan on going to school and what will you study?

I will be attending Université de Montréal in the Fall and will be doing a Certificate in Sexology.

4. What are your long-term goals?

My long-term goals are to have a Bachelors Degree in Criminology and pursue a career in educating youth.
