PGS offers high-quality 3D seismic and rock physics data in all areas of the Norwegian Continental Shelf providing an excellent resource for assessing license opportunities.

The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy announced APA 2020 on 19 June 2020, encompassing the predefined areas with blocks in the North Sea, Norwegian Sea, and Barents Sea.

- The APA rounds include large parts of the open, accessible part of the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Even after decades of activity, there are still opportunities in these areas. Due to new technology and a multitude of new players, I believe we will see new discoveries in the areas available in this year's APA round, said Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Ms. Tina Bru in a recent press release.

'PGS is applying the latest acquisition and imaging technology to support continued exploration on the NCS by helping to identify and derisk new opportunities with reliable data,' says Gunhild Myhr VP New Ventures at PGS.
