GobiMin Inc. is a Canada-based company, which is principally engaged in investment in properties, equity, debt or other securities as well as including the development of mineral properties, mainly in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. The Company holds approximately 70% equity interest in Xinjiang Tongyuan Minerals Limited (Tongyuan) through a wholly owned subsidiary, to explore, develop and operate the Sawayaerdun Gold Project (the Gold Project) located in Xinjiang, China. The Gold Project is located approximately 200 kilometers (km) northwest of the city of Kashi, western Xinjiang, China.
