We're committed to evolving our health and safety practices and keeping our teams, customers and communities at the core of every decision we make.

Given the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in the US and Canada, we want to do everything we can to help stop the spread of the virus. That's why we are adjusting our current policy and requiring all customers to wear masks in all of our North America Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Intermix and Janie and Jack stores, effective August 1.

Employees are already required to wear masks in our stores to help keep our customers and communities safe, and we're now asking our customers to help us do the same, with the exception of small children or those who are exempt due to an underlying medical condition.

We will be offering disposable masks to customers who need them and ask that our customers join us in helping to protect our communities and create an enjoyable and safe shopping experience for all. Alternatively, customers are welcome to shop our brands online or via our Curbside Pickup service where available.

We're all in this together. And we can't thank our teams and customers enough for all they do to help keep each other and our communities safe.

More information on the steps Gap Inc. has taken to address the COVID-19 pandemic is available on our COVID Response Page.
