Companhia Distribuidora de Gas do Rio de Janeiro - CEG (CEG), formerly Companhia Estadual de Gas, is a Brazil-based company engaged in the distribution of natural gas. The Company is involved in the distribution and commercialization of natural gas for the residential, commercial, industrial and electrical power generation sectors, as well as for compressed natural gas (CNG) stations. The Company’s concession area includes the city of Rio de Janeiro and a number of municipalities, such as Belford Roxo, Duque de Caxias, Guapimirim, Itaborai, Itaguai, Japeri, Mage, Mangaratiba, Marica, Nilopolis, Niteroi, Nova Iguacu, Paracambi, Queimados, Sao Goncalo, Tangua, Seropedica and Sao Joao de Meriti. The Company is part of the group Gas Natural Fenosa.
